I entered astrology through Tarot, as student, reader and teacher.  The correspondence between the cards and the Zodiacal signs and planets were my first astrology teachers.  

But quite suddenly, like the Tower card, I was struck by the desire to become an astrologer.  

Early on, I enrolled in an astro-drama seminar with Kelly Hunter.  I continue to see theater in charts, in the placement and movement of planets, and in the dialogue between myself as astrologer and my clients.  

As I began my studies, Astrology was in the middle of the transition from a Jungian/psychotherapeutic alchemical focus to exploration of ancient astrology.  This has given me a foot on each side of many evolving trends in astrology.  

I enjoy astrology conferences, seminars, books,  journals and podcasts, but my most important teachers have always been my clients and students.  

While studying astrology, I entered training as a Druid, by way of a British Order with an excellent correspondence course (OBOD).  When the course was redesigned, I wrote the astrology lessons.  

After several years of astrology practice, I became certified as a flower essence practitioner.  I have gathered about 125 flower essences and share the homeopathic powers of these plants with clients. When I connect clients with flower essences, it helps them focus on issues in their charts. The connection between plants and astrology is an important theme for me.    

I write articles for Mountain Astrologer, Dell Horoscope and astrology journals.
