“All of the presenters were very informative with their knowledge and expertise. Thank you for the opportunity to learn more about our beautiful universe.”— Joan Bastian
“Very well planned and executed with great results.” — Conference attendee
“Many thanks for a very welcoming and perfectly organized conference – it was a joy to present at it and I look forward to many more!”— Margaret Gray
“Great little mini-conference. Not long enough for Zoom overload, long enough to get a nice astrology fix.” — Paul Kelley
NEAC 2021’s Stellar Speaker Line Up
Elizabeth Hazel ~ Antiscia: Secrets in the Mirror
Antiscia are one of astrology’s best-kept secrets! We’ll review the historic origins of antiscia, the rationale for why they were developed, and share “Ridiculously Easy Ways to Figure out Antiscia in Your Head.” Basic methods for judging antiscia will be followed by diverse sample charts that show just how wonderfully sneaky and revealing these points of reflected light are in a chart. Antiscia are best known to horary astrologers, but they’re golden in natal charts, solar returns, mundane charts, elections and synastry. Don’t miss the opportunity to add this ridiculously easy but seriously fantastic ancient method to your toolbox!

When the planet Neptune was seen for the very first time through a telescope, it was conjunct Saturn. Ramya Krishnamurthy ~ Karmic Remedies for Vedic and Western Astrologers
This presentation will take a look at the connection between karma and the ways to modify it. How can an astrologer help a person to change their karmic footprint and use remedies effectively? This lecture will help you with that and can be used by Vedic and Western astrologers alike. Karmic remedies are universally applicable.

Lynn Bell ~ Body and Psyche: The Archetypal Language of Planets and Symptoms
The body speaks to us in many ways, and when we listen with a “planetary” ear, a symptom will often lead to a particular place in the chart, and a specific theme of burning or restriction, of twists and breaks or out of control growth. How do we learn the archetypal language of symptom? If we pay close enough attention, our bodies communicate through the language of symptom, a language that astrology can help us decode. The signs of the zodiac have been linked to different parts of the body since ancient times, and they can offer clues to the underlying tensions and conflicts that may be expressed in physical symptoms. Rather than a seminar about medical astrology, this is an exploration of the astrological language of the body, of the relationship between psyche, soma and the stars. The ability to think symbolically is at the heart of all astrological work. How can we learn to listen to the non-verbal messages that come not only through the body but also through our experience of the everyday world? The understanding of symbolic language can be extended to our cars and our homes, our pets and machines, then offered back to our clients in healing communication.
Bio – Lynn Bell has been practicing astrology for over forty years. Her approach comes out of many years of client practice, teaching and speaking, at the CPA in London, and now MISPA and Astrology University online. Known for her creative depth, Lynn has lectured at conferences all over the world. Her archetypal approach fuses psychology and spirituality. She is the author of Planetary Threads, Cycles of Light and co-author of the Mars Quartet. She was the 2016 winner of the Charles Harvey award for Service to Astrology.

David Perloff ~ The Origin and Applications of the Sabian Symbols
The Sabian Symbols were brought forth in 1925 via Marc Edmund Jones and his student, Elsie Wheeler. There are 360 symbols, one for each degree of the zodiac. We’ll look at the history of the symbols, how they were further developed by Dr. Jones and Dane Rudhyar, and how they are used today. We’ll examine the resonance between the Sabian Symbols and the natal charts of countries, famous people, as well as historical events. We’ll discuss consulting the Sabian Oracle; how Sabian Symbols can be used in both horary and electional astrology, as well as for chart rectification.
