“Sacred Psychiatry: Bridging the Personal and Transpersonal to Transform Health and Consciousness”, my first book, was published on January 2, 2024. It describes my journey from practicing as a more mainstream psychiatrist and psychoanalyst, to the holistic approach I take today.

These are chaotic and transformational times, an in-between epoch, as old structures, systems and hierarchies collapse, but what will take their place has not yet manifested. Grief and fear naturally arise during periods like this, and therefore it is crucial to be equipped with holistic approaches which foster resilience. My book is about how to meet these times most skillfully, courageously and from the heart and includes a variety of practices and strategies that support the body, mind and spirit.

Judy was recently interviewed by Dr. Heather Ensworth, a psychologist, shamanic healer and astrologer, and had a wide ranging conversation with her about the book and my holistic approach to healing in the context of these turbulent times.
