Using the Asteroids to Deepen our Analysis of Relationship Dynamics
with Courtney McCullough
Relationship interpretation can go much deeper than Venus and the 7th house in the chart when we pull in the asteroids. With the use of the asteroids, we can get a much more layered look at how love is received, expressed, and embodied in the individual. With these extra details in the chart, we can make much more sense of the way someone may express their Moon or Venus, leading us to ask deeper, more illuminating questions to clients seeking guidance in their romantic lives. This lecture will give you tools for getting a deeper understanding of your clients’ romantic life, and will provide counseling tools for guided questions to help a client have their own realizations from the chart. It is my belief that we are all our own best teachers, and that the best questions lead us back to ourselves. With the added flavor of the asteroids, and asking our clients thoughtful questions, we can give our clients a much deeper understanding of their romantic life and values than with their Venus, 7th house, and Moon alone. This lecture will be predominantly based off research from Demetra George's book Asteroid Goddesses, which we are currently reading in the NCGR Boston Book Club.
Bio: Courtney is a fourth generation astrologer. She started her client practice in 2021 and is opening an astrological library. If you have books or anything else you’d like to donate for the library, please reach out!

Meditations on the Six Zodiacal Polarities with Particular Focus on the Cancer-Capricorn Axis
with Judy Tsafrir
This talk will be an exploration of the six zodiacal polarities with a more in depth focus on the archetypes of Cancer and Capricorn. You will learn how each pair shares a core wound, how each side of the archetypal polarity contains the healing medicine for the other within it, and how it is through the integration of opposites that actually have a lot in common, that wholeness is created.

An Experiment: Using Visual Thinking Strategies to Delineate a Chart
with Jude Valentine
Using Visual Thinking Strategies, a facilitated discussion protocol developed at Harvard and used in museum and education settings around the world, let's collectively delineate an astrological chart or two - over the course of an hour - to build our knowledge and share our understanding of what the cosmos might be saying.
Bio: Jude Valentine is a professional artist and practicing astrologer with more than 30 years experience in the study and synthesis of mythology, numerology, tarot and astrology. She is the host of the Sister Stargazers radio show produced by WMPG--Gorham/Portland, Maine, 90.9 FM and WRFR, 93.3 FM, Rockland, Maine. Her dad introduced her to the study of metaphysics by creating numerology charts for each of his children. These handy reference charts identified life path guidance, as well as the strengths and challenges of their personalities, proving to be a helpful and remarkably accurate tool. This, among other things - like the burning of the Ouija Board prompted by her paternal Italian Nana after a Sunday holiday dinner - only confirmed and kindled Jude's lifelong interest in all things metaphysical.
