Event Saturation and the Current Times
This is a time of lectures about the ingress of the outer planets into new signs and this talk is no different. We live in one of the most changing times that humanity has seen in centuries. This time is similar to the early 1500's when the three outer planets changed signs over a twenty year period, while the current ingresses are condensed into a 3 year period. In addition, at no time in the past several thousand years has such intense activity taken place on the Cardinal Axis. The Cardinal Axis is zero degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn and these places always concern events which are common to all living things and the Earth itself. When humanity passes such a large transition, our perceptions of events speeds up. Important situations become minor and important minor events fade from consciousness at faster and faster speeds until it all becomes a blur in our perception.
In this talk, we will discuss ways of navigating the times, what to expect from the current indicators and where it is all going. The current changes will linger for some time and lead into a series of world events that will shape our culture, our expectations, our perceptions and the new world we all will have to adjust to. While the scope of this talk will be wide, I will distill it into usable information that we all can gain by.
Bio: Gary Christen, originator of Symmetrical Astrology, is a C.A. NCGR PAA, PMAFA, ISAR CAP, ASP Faculty and the first person in modern times awarded an accredited BA in Astrology (Livingston College, Rutgers University, 1974). An international lecturer, professional astrologer, serving the nonprofit community since 1969 and was nominated for the 2018 Regulus Award (Discovery, Innovation and Research), Gary co-founded Astrolabe (with Rob Hand) bringing astrology to micro computers starting in 1978. Astrolabe publishes SolarFire, Celeste and Nova Chartwheels (among other titles) under Gary's guidance. Gary also teaches and is currently writing “An Approach to Astrology,” an introduction to the materials comprising Symmetrical Astrology, which is the forward evolution of Uranian Astrology and the works of AH Blackwell.
